One of the benefits of your Maple account is the ability to care for a family member, like your children or elderly parents. You can add other people to your Maple account so long as you are their legal guardian or if you have power of attorney over their medical decisions.
When you submit a consultation request on Maple, always select the patient profile for the person who is seeking care. As the account holder, you must always be present during the visit, even on behalf of another patient on the account.
To add a patient profile to your Maple account:
Log in to your Maple account: https://app.getmaple.ca/login
From the menu, click on Profiles.
Click on New Patient.
Complete all required fields.
Confirm that you have power of attorney by checking the consent box.
Click on Add Patient.
