You can adjust your language settings between English and French at any time.
We communicate with you in three different ways, and you can customize the language settings for each way:
User interface language is the language used throughout our app or when you log in to Maple.
Consultation language is the language spoken when you're matched with a practitioner, by secure text, audio or video call. Doctors, nurse practitioners and many specialists are available in both languages. Availability may vary for some specialties based on practitioner availability.
Communications language is the language used in email or text notifications, and the language our Customer Support Team will use if we need to reach you.
Please note that language selection won't be available if you're travelling outside of Canada at the time of your request.
If you're looking for a practitioner who speaks another language, we suggest including that detail in your visit request.
There may be a practitioner in your province who can communicate in a language other than English or French.
How to change your language settings
Go to Settings from your dashboard (gear icon).
Click the Language tab.
Adjust the User Interface language, Consultations language, and Communication language as needed.
