One of the benefits of your Maple account is the ability to care for a family member, like your children or elderly parents. You can add other people to your Maple account so long as you are their legal guardian or if you have power of attorney over their medical decisions.

When you submit a consultation request on Maple, always select the patient profile for the person seeking care. At the account holder’s discretion, they can give the patient privacy with the provider once they have provided access to their Maple account.

To add a patient profile to your Maple account:

  1. Log in to your Maple account: https://app.getmaple.ca/login

  2. From the menu, click on Profiles.

  3. Click on New Patient.

  4. Complete all required fields.

  5. Confirm that you have power of attorney by checking the consent box.

  6. Click on Add Patient.

Click Profiles, then click New Patient.

Click Profiles.

Click Add new patient.
