Virtual care disclaimer

What to know before you start your visit

When you request a visit on Maple, we may ask you to confirm your consent to use virtual care. Here's what to keep in mind:

  • Virtual care carries some privacy and security risks—your health information could be intercepted or unintentionally disclosed. Review our terms of use here and our privacy policy here.

  • Virtual care isn't a substitute for the emergency department when you need urgent care.

  • To protect your health information, join your visit from a private space and use a personal device.
