To use Maple services, you'll need to subscribe to a Maple membership or obtain coverage through your employer, school, or provincial health plan — unless you are located in Quebec, where different access options apply.

We believe all Canadians should have the ability to take control of their health year-round. That’s why we’re excited to expand our membership offering, a subscription-based service offering a range of premium services across Canada. With a membership, patients can seamlessly access high-quality virtual care experiences like primary care, chronic care, and paediatric primary care, as well as specialty care services, including dermatology and mental health (depending on the province and for an additional cost), all from the comfort of home.

Our membership covers virtual care for families, including the primary account holder's spouse and any dependents under 18 who share the same primary residence.

With a membership to Maple, Canadians receive:

  • Access to daily primary care provider visits: One daily visit with a primary care provider for each family member in their household

  • Sick notes: Ability to obtain sick notes, when clinically appropriate.

  • Prescriptions: Ability to obtain prescriptions when clinically appropriate, with the option for home delivery from partner pharmacies.

  • Access to specialists: Access to specialists within days, not months. No referral is needed.

  • Specialist referrals: Easy access to specialist referrals if needed (not available in Nunavut or the Northwest Territories)

  • Paediatric care: Complimentary paediatric primary care visits

  • Second medical opinions: access to a network of experts for a second opinion if diagnosed with a severe condition (e.g. MS or cancer) while a member.

  • Personal Health Check-Ins: Personalized proactive care recommendations to maintain and improve health.

  • iCBT courses: Access to iCBT (internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy) self-assessment and courses.

  • Credits: An $80 credit per month to be applied to a specialty visit

To purchase a membership, register or log in to your Maple account and click Membership Options on the main menu. More detailed steps are shared here.

Please note that memberships are not available in Quebec at this time.
