In Nova Scotia, our healthcare providers may recommend that you attend an in-person visit at a primary care clinic if they determine that it is medically necessary. This feature is only enabled for those on the Full Care plan.
If you received an in-person referral, you will be contacted by VCNS to schedule an appointment and for any required follow-up. The VCNS admin team facilitates in-person appointments, so Maple’s team cannot directly assist with escalations and inquiries.
