Having a consultation through video

Your practitioner decides if a video call is needed

All visits begin as a live chat, but your practitioner may switch to a video call at their discretion.

Video calls let you connect face-to-face with your practitioner during your online visit.

You're welcome to request a video call when you start your visit, but whether it happens is up to your practitioner.

How to have a video call with a practitioner

Your visit begins with text messaging between you and your practitioner.

If your practitioner thinks a video call would be helpful, you'll get a message asking if you'd like to join.

  • Click Accept invitation to start the video call.

  • If you'd prefer not to use video, you can click Decline video chat.

Adjust your video call settings:

  • Make the video larger by clicking the expand button.

  • Turn your camera or microphone on/off using the buttons on the screen.

Click End video chat when you're finished. Your practitioner can also end the call from their side.

You're in control of your video call experience. You can choose to accept or decline the invitation, adjust your settings and end the call at any time.
