Sending your prescription to a pharmacy

How to accept and send a prescription to your pharmacy for delivery or pick up.

Once your practitioner issues a prescription, you're ready to send it straight to a pharmacy of your choice. Maple isn't a pharmacy—we connect you with pharmacies nearby so you can get what you need, conveniently.

One thing to keep in mind: prescriptions can't be downloaded. They're faxed directly to your pharmacy so they can prepare your medication.

Some specialties, like Weight Medication Assessment, only offer delivery—we have an article about that available here.

If you don't see the option to order your prescription, your visit might still be active. Reach out to our Customer Support Team and we'll get it sorted.

Pharmacy pick up

Select a pharmacy on the map, then click Continue with this pharmacy—you'll receive a confirmation by email or text. You'll be able to view the pharmacy details in your visit summary.

The pharmacy will automatically receive your prescription and begin preparing it. Give them a call or wait for their notification that your medication is ready for pick-up.

Don't forget to bring ID when you go to collect it.

Pharmacy delivery

You will be prompted to confirm your province before the prescription is sent to our delivery partner. We'll let you know the earliest delivery date—it will be between 2-5 business days.

The delivery pharmacy will contact you by the next business day at the phone number associated with your Maple account to finalize payment, shipping, and delivery details.
