Please note that the General Practitioner service is mostly on-demand, and patients are paired with the next available doctor. However, there are options for selecting a specific provider in certain cases.
On-demand General Practitioner visits
For most General Practitioner visits, patients are automatically paired with the next available doctor. Any provider you get paired with will be able to see your past consultation records on Maple and any medical records you've created, so they can assist and follow up on previous issues.
To request a new visit with a General Practitioner:
Log in to your Maple account.
Click Get Care.
Select the General Practitioner specialty.
Scheduling a visit with a specific provider
If you prefer to see a specific provider, you may have the option to do so.
Select General Practitioner, or your desired specialty.
Choose Book Appointment instead of the on-demand option.
Please note that provider availability may vary.
For some specialty healthcare options there is a scheduled appointment option that allows you to select a specific practitioner. To learn more, refer to our specialties web page.
