1. Book an appointment with a naturopathic doctor
First, book an appointment with a naturopathic doctor (ND) on Maple. They'll walk you through your options and help you figure out which test is right for you.
2. Complete your payment
During your appointment, the ND will share a payment link with you. The cost is around $200, but the exact amount may vary depending on the test you choose.
3. Get your requisition
After your appointment, the ND will upload your FST requisition to your consultation summary. You can find it there whenever you're ready to move forward.
4. Choose how you'd like to get tested
You have two options for testing, depending on where you're located:
If you're near a LifeLabs clinic, you can bring the requisition directly to the clinic.
If you're not near a LifeLabs clinic, let your ND know. They can request that LifeLabs send an FST testing kit directly to you. Once you've completed the test, you'll send the kit back to LifeLabs. Your initial FST fee covers the shipping costs.
5. Get your results
LifeLabs processes your test and sends the results to your ND. The ND then uploads the results to your consultation summary as a separate file. You can view your results and book a follow-up appointment with the ND if you have questions or want to discuss the next steps.
