When you submit a consultation request on Maple, it goes directly to a healthcare provider. If the healthcare provider feels they aren’t able to help you online, they will cancel your request to avoid any charges.

If your consultation is not accepted initially, you can submit a new request — another healthcare provider may be able to help.

When a provider accepts a request, they can offer medical advice, and possibly provide prescriptions, doctor’s notes, or laboratory requisitions — depending on their medical discretion and the healthcare specialty you selected.

Always provide as much information and detail as possible when submitting your request. This gives the healthcare provider valuable information to determine how they can provide the best care.
