Concordia students who qualify are automatically enrolled in Maple’s Virtual Health Care service for the academic year through the Concordia Student Union (CSU)!
If you don’t wish to be covered by Maple, you can follow the steps below to opt out.
Graduate students and international students are not eligible. If you fall into these categories, please contact the CSU to learn more about your coverage options.
Steps to Opt-out:
Head to https://www.getmaple.ca/csu/ to access the opt-out process. This page is dedicated to Concordia students for managing their Maple coverage.
On the landing page, click the link under the opt-out section. You’ll be redirected to a Google Form where you can submit your opt-out request.
When completing the form, you’ll be asked to select one of the following options:
Annual Opt-Out: You will be opted out for the current academic year. Coverage will automatically restart at the beginning of the next academic year, unless you opt out again.
Permanent Opt-Out: You will be opted out for the remainder of your undergraduate program and will not be automatically re-enrolled.
Important Timing Requirements
The opt-out process is only available during specific periods each academic year:
Fall semester: September 5 - October 4
Winter semester: January 22 - February 20
