How do I know if my referral has been sent?
In the main menu, click Specialist referrals.
If your referral has been sent, it will say Received by specialist.
If it says Requires more information, follow the steps in the article: Accepting your specialist referral.
If your referral has been sent, it will say Received by specialist.
I see a rejection uploaded to my referral. Do I need to take any action?
If you see a rejection uploaded to your referral, this means our team is already aware and is working on redirecting your referral — we aim to do this within 7 business days. If we need any further information from you, you will receive a message in your Maple inbox.
If you were informed directly of the rejection by the specialist, please contact us at the button below to share this with our Customer Support team.
Once your referral has been redirected, the Specialist information section will be updated to the new clinic details. This section is visible when you click on the referral.
How do I know if there are any updates on my referral?
Usually, the specialist clinic will contact you directly to book your appointment. If we receive any faxed updates regarding your referral, they will be uploaded to your referral, and you will receive a notification. To find these uploads, please see the article: Viewing your specialist referral.
