What is THP?
Trillium Health Partners (THP) is a leading hospital network in the Peel Region (catchment area is the former Mississauga-Halton Local Health Integration Network) of the GTA in Ontario that encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre.
How does the program work?

To book a test at a THP assessment centre through Maple, all patients must complete a screening visit with a THP doctor online through Maple to determine if they’re eligible for the test. To access the screening visit option, please visit this registration link to create a Maple account with the THP coverage, or add the coverage to your existing Maple account through this login link.
Please note that these visits are covered by the province and if you’re prompted for payment, your account may not be set up correctly. If you are asked to enter your credit card information, please do not proceed and reach out to our support team by chat or email ([email protected]).
The program is open daily at 8am and will close when the appointment limit is reached. The visit will start as a chat through our app and then move to phone or video call. Once the visit is complete, your information will be sent to Trillium and a booking coordinator will reach out via phone call to the number on your Maple account within 24-48 hours to schedule your in-person test.
How do I book a COVID-19 test?
To book a COVID-19 test, you’ll first need to speak to a Trillium doctor on Maple starting at 8am, with a limited number of appointments. Here are the steps:
- Log into your existing Maple account through this login link OR register for an account through this registration link if you don’t yet have one to attach the Trillium coverage.
- Login and click 'Get Care' or 'See doctor'.
- If the visit is for a patient other than yourself (the account holder), please add the patients to your account before proceeding.
- Click “THP COVID-19 Screening Provider” and then press 'Continue'. If you don’t see this option, let our support team know. If you are prompted for payment for the visit, you will be charged. Please contact our support team ([email protected]) to assist you if this is the case.
- The doctor will complete a screening assessment with you on the app, starting with a chat and moving to a phone or video call.
- Once the visit is finished, and if the provider determines that you're eligible, you’ll get a call from a THP representative to confirm your appointment time and assessment centre location. Please note that due to current volumes, you should receive a call within 48-72 hours from the booking coordinator.
Can I book all my family members for a single appointment?
No, to get an appointment for all family members, each patient needs to complete a separate screening visit in order to get an appointment. Only one screening request can be submitted on a Maple account at a time.
If you have questions or concerns about getting tested in a group, please contact the assessment centre directly.
You can add your spouse, children and any dependents to your Maple account to request a visit for them. Please add them to the account under ‘Patient Profiles’ and then add the THP coverage to them through your Account Settings, under the ‘Coverages’ tab. Click the ‘Add Coverage’ option under the patient’s name and the return to the main dashboard to submit the request under their profile.
How do I contact the assessment centre?

How long is the wait time for the screening visit with a doctor?
The wait times vary each day, depending on the time the request is submitted and the volume of requests that day. Due to the current volumes, it may take up to 4 hours after the request has been submitted to be matched with a doctor for the screening visit. It may also take less time.
When will I receive my phone call to book my actual testing appointment?
You’ll receive your phone call, to the number listed on your Maple account, from the THP booking coordinator within 48-72 hours after completing the screening visit.
It’s been over 72 hours since my screening visit and I still have not received a call for my test appointment- what do I do?

Where can I get my test results? How long do they take?
Please note that Maple does not process or receive any COVID-19 test results.
Test results are available to view and print on the provincial COVID-19 website with a valid Ontario Health card. These results may be available within 3 to 7 days.
